Music Educator, Bachelor of Arts, Master of Art (Education) & Doctor of Philosophy

In my work as a researcher, cultural worker, and educator, I have never ceased to be fascinated by the nature and development of human intelligence. Although certain aspects of intelligence can be measured, I understand it as a complex phenomenon—one as diverse as human personality itself. This perspective, grounded in the theoretical contributions of the Russian scholars Aleksander Luria and Lev S. Vygotsky, forms the foundation of my approach as both educator and researcher.

I work from the hypothesis that all individuals possess an inherent potential to develop their communicative, cognitive, and intellectual capacities. Differences in intelligence should therefore not be understood as limitations, but as unique points of departure for human cultural and personal development.

I am currently engaged in two ongoing projects in educational philosophy that build on my earlier work and reflect my long-standing interest in mediation and professional development across different contexts. The first, and more extensive, investigates how linguistic forms of thinking contribute to the development of professional judgment. The second, which is smaller in scope, focuses on developing a cultural‑historical perspective on music pedagogical theory and practice.
